Promita Chatterji

Promita Chatterji is the Product Manager for Digital Commons Journals, a platform that supports over 2500 Diamond Open Access journals. She works closely with academic communities to understand emerging trends, inform product innovation, and build visibility and impact for open-access journals. At bepress, she has led several strategic initiatives on topics including data management, open educational resources, and the impact of open access. A former humanities researcher, Promita holds a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley and has taught extensively at UC Berkeley and Columbia University.

Nathan Westgarth

Nathan recently joined Aries to lead their product team, enhancing the company’s suite of publishing workflow solutions, including Editorial Manager. Nathan has over 20 years of experience in software development, project management and product management. Previous roles include product management and leadership for researcher platforms such as ScienceDirect and Mendeley at Elsevier, as well as managing Dimensions and Projects at Digital Science alongside coaching and mentoring founders and product teams in Digital Science’s portfolio companies such as Figshare and Altmetric.
