In her role she works closely with senior academic leaders, library communities and scholarly networks understanding the research need while aligning appropriate solution that best meets their desired outcome. She is based in Singapore and networks across APAC region driving the value of Elsevier’s Software Solution’s and repurposing the concepts around research administration, publishing, research innovation & data management etc.

Danping Dong serves as the Senior Research & Data Services Librarian at Singapore Management University, supporting scholarly communications and Research Data Management initiatives. With experience working with institutional repositories including Digital Commons and Figshare, she contributes to efforts enhancing the visibility and accessibility of SMU's research output. Danping collaborates with researchers and library colleagues to promote open access and effective data management practices. Recently, she has begun exploring the potential of data analysis and computational methods to complement traditional library services, aiming to support the evolving needs of the research community.

Dr. Khalil is an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Universitas Indonesia and currently serves as the Director of Research and Development under the Office of Vice Rector for Research and Innovation, Universitas Indonesia.

He earned his PhD in chemistry from New Mexico Tech (NMT), USA in 2015. He holds bachelor’s degree in chemistry from IPB University and obtained master’s degree in chemical engineering from University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2011. Before joining UI in 2016, he was HIR Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center of Energy Science and briefly worked as Research Fellow at the Centre for Research in Nanotechnology and Catalysis (NANOCAT), University of Malaya, Malaysia.

He was the recipient of the 2015 NMT Founders Award and Ambassador Award for Excellence from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Washington DC in 2014. In 2020, he received the Bright Scientist Award from the Dean of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Indonesia. Recently, Khalil was also listed in 2023 Stanford’s list of world top 2% scientists (Elsevier). He also currently serves as Editorial Board Member at SN Applied Sciences (Springer-Nature Journal), Chemistry Africa (Springer-Nature Journal), Makara Journal of Science (UI), and Journal of Research and Development on Nanotechnology (ITB).

His research interests include the rational design of low-dimension functional nanomaterials with specific application in catalysis, renewable energy, biomedical, electronics and sensing devices, oil and gas industry, and energy storage. He has published in total 108 documents in Scopus, where 93.3% of them are in the Q1 and Q2 journals. (Scopus h-index: 25; total citations: 1,972; FWCI: 1.3).
